Which tool would you like made next? (Hashtag Basketball)
Added 2023-11-30 22:41:53 +0000 UTCHey all - wanting to get your input on what tool you'd like made next for Hashtag Basketball.
Option 1 is automatically creating a web page for your league that can be shared with your league mates. This would leverage ChatGPT to create matchup recaps and use various data I'm able to source using the same API used to import data. I'd have to do some sums to calculate how much this would cost since using ChatGPT costs money, so I might have to make this available to people who pay an extra $1/mo to cover it.
Option 2 is community dynasty rankings, where a page will be created where you can choose between two players and pick which you'd prefer to keep (this will randomly generate players every time the page loads), and rankings will be generated based on your selections.

2023-12-01 21:45:28 +0000 UTCI like the league page idea, but the rest of it sounds awesome as well. I'd be willing to pay the extra $1 a month. One thing I'd like for myself personally is just a better way to identify guys I should be going after, like "buy low" candidates, etc. There are so many players out there and maybe it's just my lack of ability to pay attention to it all but I'd love some kind of weekly report of like "Buy Low, Sell High, Guys to Stash" or something.

It would make it easier to add a guy who gets assists if I'm low on that category by sorting it that way instead of by rank/total. Also makes it easier to find a trade partner using it when adding their team to the waiver wire

2023-12-01 00:00:21 +0000 UTCThe good news is that I have code already written for the community dynasty rankings (going to be calling it "Keeper"), so I could potentially finish off the first stage of it (collecting the data), and then work on the league web page tool while I wait for enough data to come in to start building the rankings part of it.
