POLL: How do you prefer receiving updates?
Added 2025-07-31 00:53:05 +0000 UTCI know I've been posting a lot of updates recently (I'm officially half way through the time off I've taken from my 9-5 job to work on Hashtag, so I've had a lot to post out!).
I don't really do social media, so this is the best way for me to share updates, and I wanted to see how you prefer to receive them?
Do you prefer to continue receiving them at this cadence on Patreon (posting new stuff when it's available)? Would you prefer to sign up and opt into a separate mailing list? Do you find these updates annoying? (added that last one in there, but please don't be mean about it haha)

Yeah, the one thing I'm conscious of is that I know most people are following for fantasy basketball updates, but there will be more posts about the other websites as I try and grow them, and Patreon doesn't give us the option to let you pick and choose what to receive. It seems like most people are ok with it for now based on the poll, so I'll continue posting here.

2025-07-31 07:45:46 +0000 UTCI am already drowning in quantity of mails coming to the inbox, would expect to miss something if you switch the notification channel. As long as the info is important/relevant it is acceptable to use Patreon. For me personally relevant are changes and updates you bring to site functionality and content. I expect more frequent messages before the season starts, and then your nice drop ins when there is a major trade, injury or a lineup change so that you update the rankings or bring recommendations. What I would like to avoid getting is something outside the topic of basketball.
