You are very observant, that's good when watching a show like this one. Don’t feel bad for almost being fooled by the suitcase, I also believed that maybe they'd find Rebecca's body... this show just likes playing mind games with the viewers. Bonnie’s backstory is so horrific... and you're right, it's similar to Ash’s from Banana Fish. Truly horrible... On the sweeter note, Connor saying I love you to Oliver and also calling him Ollie, love it so much! Frank played them well. Never underestimate him.
