You can debate all day long about chakras and chi paths, but acupuncture strikes at the nerve endings themselves, and that’s fact. Because it’s so focused, it is not always symmetrical. By doing so strategically the acupuncturist can create certain neurochemical reactions that accelerate a body’s healing, or achieves other effects. Typically though, it’s used to deal with stress and tension, not repressed family issues.
