Was Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Actually That Good 2

I've decided rather than do the great big time-sink video all at once, I will pick away at it in the background so you guys don't have to go without content for a month or more. Seems practical, especially in this all important time for my channel. So that one will come eventually, but in the mean time, you'll get more videos like this, and others I have planned.

My take on your question of "Why is Ed Sad after finding out that they didn't bring there mom back at all?" He wasn't sad to find this out, he was actually relieved. One thing (of many) he has tortured himself about, is how he brought his mom's soul back into a monsters body. Basically woke her up from the dead just to make her suffer for a few minutes, before causing her to die; this time by his hands. That's what he thought happened. Now this big reveal happen that he didn't actually bring her back, didn't cause her needless suffering on top of the suffering that Al went through (which he still blames himself for). I don't have the right words to describe the exact emotion he's displaying, but I know it's similar to when characters pass out after getting past a long and tough obstacle. As if all the tension they've been building up or holding onto since the start of 'x event' releases all at once. He can 100% stop blaming himself for this one thing, because he's now learned that it didn't even happen in the first place. It would be similar (although much bigger scale) to if he woke up from a comma and found out the entire transmutation incident was just a bad dream, and all the problems and self blame would disappear in an instant.
