Mystery Gift, let them be known to the public?

*EDIT* I believe a 3-Month Timed Exclusive will be good. Hold on to your hats, cause I'll still make some quality mystery gifts. Not just obscure characters, I'll also throw in trendy mainstream hotties.
I may be shooting myself in the leg by not advertising the Mystery Gifts. Which are monthly exclusive content not advertised anywhere.
The problem is that it doesn't seem to do a thing to retain patrons. Sub and unsub ratios are still pretty much the same. So, I'm considering a few options:
- Keep them as an exclusive. It's a nice incentive.
- Promote them like I do with any other work.
- Wait it out for now.
- Timed exclusive and promote them later. (Let's say 3 month or 6 month period.)
Let me know what you think. Also multiple choice.
