I hadn’t seen it in a couple of decades and watched it again recently with some friends and was really struck at how elegant and gorgeous it is. I decided to do a study from a still, it’s not a perfect likeness (Maggie Cheung is much more beautiful) but I didn’t want to overwork it. The entire process was a little over 2 hours.
