Graysie needs to lay down | The Michael, Jordan Podcast
Added 2024-11-08 08:00:08 +0000 UTCOur Heroes take this show to the next room and have a hang out sesh. Graysie loves this chair (it's not pluffle) and now she wants chips and salsa? We're catching her up on everything we have going on and what we've been up to. Also don't take the last few minutes as dire, we're mostly thinking out loud and everything is fine. Thanks for your support.

2024-11-20 20:11:33 +0000 UTCBring back graysies gets! New: nicks nibbles A dessert only show? Where Jordan can shine his sweets knowledge Maybe even a morning coffee show with eric for the bean boys It would be cool to get a none main slop food break down for Michaels fitness program. I sadly don’t use twitter so if these things happen i miss them, but if they were here i could binge none stop 100% eat Overall keep being you and more will come i try to convinces friends daily to come listen/watch. Been a dedicated consumer since the very first episode on last call. Always a pleasure thanks as always. Soon to be cinnamon tier - bob evens

2024-11-18 13:25:22 +0000 UTCHonestly a some food court streams/VOD might be a great entry point for people! And get them interested in the show, cause a lot of people know you guys from past stuff with RT and more and just need a point to see how great the 100% eat dynamic is! Maybe some more clipped reels from those on YouTube to get people! interested!

2024-11-12 18:08:18 +0000 UTCFor the ending question, I think a lot of us already subscribed to patreon get the details and nitty gritty but people watching on YouTube don't. Maybe a couple YouTuber/twitch streams for some extra subs and donations and y'all can call them promotions for the Patreon and add a couple bonus clips or something behind the patreon paywall. The harder thing for y'all is getting new people, cause while we all love this but there isn't a great jumping in point for people that haven't kept up. Could try and do some cross overs eps with some of the other RT people or people you know and mention 100% Eat. And maybe make a couple videos that have an easier entry point for new people to jump in. I don't wanna see what you guys do change but def don't wanna see you go away! 💕

2024-11-12 17:25:33 +0000 UTCWould y’all be interested in doing let’s plays, watching Eric and nick play games on regulation is awesome. I think having graycie and Jordan play group/party games would be equally as entertaining

2024-11-12 16:41:25 +0000 UTC5. NGL I checked for new Rage Quit content when I saw the shirt. A 1P Let’s Play would be fun to watch with this group

2024-11-12 06:18:18 +0000 UTC4. Food Court on YouTube w/guest judges online or otherwise might be good for non-bugs/views

2024-11-12 05:59:20 +0000 UTC3. I love the short form edited content (Eric reviews, YouTube Shorts) and animations for a particular bit, these are great for rewatching and indoctrinating non-bugs

2024-11-12 05:52:02 +0000 UTC2. Edit it down to a short one with just the review for all the degenerates that are just looking for a review. Stick it in its own playlist. Use all the BS YouTube tactics to lure in the non-bugs

2024-11-12 05:47:25 +0000 UTC1. The main pod is still my go to podcast for keeping motivated when I’m working on something that sucks, has been for the past 5 years now. Keeping doing that for those who need a long pod with lots of spittin’ silly

2024-11-11 16:19:53 +0000 UTCI would love to see a once a month, or once a food-court-period, show where the guys have to try some of the food court food crimes. And, as much as I know eric hates it, people will pay for a chance to interact. That could be a sit and chat livestream once a month, a discord meetup once a quarter, or something similar.

2024-11-11 03:04:04 +0000 UTCA patron exclusive cooking challenge would be pretty good, they have to try and replicate the top ranked foods from the list or pick the bottom ranked food and try and make it the way it was "supposed to be". Nick and gracie judge, Bi monthly or quarterly release could be an interesting/funny?

2024-11-10 06:42:23 +0000 UTCI'd say get into political streaming - there's a big hole for liberal streamers who appeal to men.... and there's a fuck-ton of money in it too

2024-11-09 22:48:06 +0000 UTCIf I knew what people wanted to see, then I wouldn't stream a dead game in the middle of the night to 2 people. With that in mind, I think chasing new audience with new types of content is the play. Maybe you can try different show ideas without needed to commit to making any one thing into a new weekly series right from the go. I think a talk show-esque format where you have guests on might be neat. if you need an excuse to tie it to food, make it a lunch date where you get lunch with the guest at their fave or a new restaurant they haven't tried. Or you could try out new restaurants around town in an exploratory manner, less like a structured 100% Eat episode, more like a "what's this about" style you can jump into instead of a lot of production beforehand writing fact sheets. You could leverage your shared videogaming interests and review fictional restaurants in video games. Cluckin Bell and Burger Shot from the GTA series have their own levels of detail in the various games you could riff off. I'm more interested in personality-driven things so I'll be consuming anything you make. Unless it's YouTube Shorts. those aren't convenient for me in my usage patterns, so I haven't seen very many of those. And when I do, I take the video URL and make it like a regular YT vid. But I do appreciate that the tiktok/shorts format is being pushed to drive discovery on the platform. I think the discord Food Court format is a great example of utilizing the audience as an asset and driving more interaction for content in that regard will be a boon. you could have a show where you take general food queries, rather than specific insane food crimes. For example: Am I The Asshole for asking for new fries when I watched a restaurant employee skim some of mine? or showcase audience food creations, like my own Quesa-Cheese-a: cheese pan-fried to make a shell which holds cheese and other ingredients in the style of a quesadilla. probably the longest shot idea i can think of would be to seek partnership funding for creating content in the vein of 100% Eat for the City of Austin. if the city prides itself on being a Food City, then a food review podcast making videos as a guide to the city's food might be desirable. and I hope you can get voodoo back as a sponsor, since they seemed so cool to sponsor the Van episodes and Road Trip and other fun ideas. Can't wait to see the brand evolve

2024-11-08 22:30:27 +0000 UTCI don’t know if the finances work out for this but I’d be interested in perhaps the cinnamon tier having an ad-free version of the main show. It would be a small quality of life thing but I’d chip in a little extra for Graysie plus ad-free episodes.

2024-11-08 19:03:29 +0000 UTCThey don't have to subscribe to Patreon necessarily, the additional support from more downloads and more ads is also good for the show, and eventually some % will convert over to paid. But you're certainly right - the crossover by itself doesn't bring in more Patreon subs in the short term. It's more a long term viewer growth strategy. Only some fixed percentage of ANY fan base is going to be willing to pay to support it. So if that base grew 2x, it stands to reason that the Patreon support would follow. And in the meantime, ad sales are worth more too.

2024-11-08 18:02:40 +0000 UTCwe should score the episodes and by we i mean the complements grackles and up because you know "we have a score"

2024-11-08 17:34:34 +0000 UTCRight except you didn't need to pay separate subscription for each of those things, do you really think people who subscribe to one of these shows will then subscribe to another because of just a cross over?

2024-11-08 17:15:02 +0000 UTCI think we need a Graysie & Nick podcast to supplement the Michael Jordan podcast

2024-11-08 16:05:20 +0000 UTCI love the shows and that podcasts are more frequent in the new iteration. I’ll continue to support as long as possible. Was surprised the merch margins aren’t as good, I just put in an order!

2024-11-08 14:52:22 +0000 UTCI think it's fair to be rattled seeing such a long established group be so close to the edge like that, but I know at least I'll be here supporting as much as possible and I'm sure I'm not the only one so I hope it does keep growing or at least remains secure/stable enough to subsist as is. 💚

2024-11-08 14:49:11 +0000 UTCon the subject of new content, i would watch these freaks do almost anything. i know that's not the most helpful suggestion, but i think they could get more experimental with their content and see what does well. i definitely enjoyed the fair video, so maybe more activity/experience-based content.

2024-11-08 14:08:51 +0000 UTCI know Eric will lambast me and say "tHaT dIDn'T woRk oUT So wELl thE fIrSt TImE" for suggesting this, but cross promotion was how I found Rooster Teeth. I saw some RVB in 2006 and then not much else for a decade. I found The Know, then I wanted to go check out The Patch, then followed he-who-must-not-be-named to Off Topic, followed Michael and Gav from OT to AH, meanwhile following Gus and Gav to RTP, and everything else. Thanks to The Roost and everybody crossing over into Good Morning From Hell, Stinky Dragon, et al, I found Podcast But Outside and Cult Podcast and probably a few more. So if new Patron traffic is slowing down, crossovers with friendly shows certainly helped ME with discovery. It's certainly not unfamiliar territory for the crew.

2024-11-08 12:35:57 +0000 UTCWhen I was a kid, I wanted to help my mom cook. So she would give me an apron, a bowl with flour and water, and a whisk, and she'd say "It would be a BIG HELP if you stir this for me 🥰" and I would do it. Now i realize she was just getting me out of the way. That's the kind of work Graycie will be doing lol

2024-11-08 11:52:20 +0000 UTCIs Graysie an energy vampire? lol I love the “little sister home from college hanging with the bros” vibe y’all had this week You make the shows, I watch the shows. Easy math 🤟🏻

2024-11-08 10:57:17 +0000 UTCHonestly I just use this show as talk radio (like all podcasts) so as long as you guys talk and hang out and be funny, I'll keep watching.

2024-11-08 10:13:36 +0000 UTCIf you're trying to bring on Graysie full time, I wonder if a Kickstarter would be a good idea to try to cover the cost? I know it worked out well for Death Battle. If there's stretch goals, they could be Graysie-centric like an actual "Plufls and Puzzles" show with Graysie, not sure if this sounds appealing to try? Guessing you're trying to keep things on Patreon. In terms of extra content for possible other tiers on Patreon, I'm curious if Jordan would like to do RTAA style animations, but from Face Jam/100% Eat episodes? I don't know if any of you would want to do some type of gaming content, as I know most of you already do that. Gaming with Graysie?

2024-11-08 09:10:48 +0000 UTCi think you guys are undervaluing that your own dedication and righteous fury to make the show and keep making it despite outward discussions of “success” on short-sighted metrics is the thesis statement of the whole bit, in a way. maybe you guys just make more similar stuff that you’re passionate about or really want to make, even if it’s super low budget or weird or literally just for yourselves. or maybe you just change the opener to crazy bones and the money will flood in idk

2024-11-08 08:51:49 +0000 UTCI skipped to the end because the description scared me. My money will always be coming in. I'll do my best to get others on board. 100% Eat forever.
