Deli Update
Added 2023-04-04 23:54:03 +0000 UTCSo the handsome long bearded Santa daddy came in again today. I finally worked up the courage and asked him his name. It's Michael, and I could've sworn he put on a little bit of weight. His shirt was stretching a little bit more today.
There was another man that I noticed walking around the store today (by store, I mean Safeway, where my deli resides within). I swear he was about 6'4", maybe 6'6". But he had a big belly that was curving over his waistline, and he was wearing suspenders. I saw him standing at the end of the isle I was going down. As I drew closer, I kid you not, he casually just ran a hand along his gut and its lower curve. Unsure if he did it on purpose, but he didn't seem to notice my staring.
There is yet another guy that comes into our deli at least 3 times a week for a sandwich. He's a heavy set guy, at least 360 lbs, and I'm petty certain he has cerebral parsley, which isn't a big deal at all in my opinion, I just noticed it today when he spoke. But he loves getting our sandwiches. While I make it, an all meat sandwich (4 meats) with Muenster cheese, a slather of mayo, mustard, honey mustard, and brown mustard, with lettuce and tomatoes. It's a big sandwich and puts subway's 'Feast' to shame. Anyway, while I make his sandwich, I can't help but glance at his gut which is hanging out from under his shirt by a good 3-4 inches. Every time I asked him if he wanted to add something to his sandwich (fattening wise) be said "of course". EVERY TIME. If I asked him for extra veggies he said "no, too many veggies." If I'm not mistaken, it sounded to me like he's a gainer. But who knows.
