Dear friends,

We have created together a nice, cuddly, loving community. It is a joy for me to wake up every day and chat with you guys, learn about you, learn from you and simply to relax in your company.

New faces have joined us recently – hooray! – therefore, in order to make sure I am as transparent as possible, alongside the FAQ that greets every new member, I’d like to address a few ideas that seem to be popping up as questions from time to time.

1. In your comic Striped Sins, will the main characters have sex?

Yes, definitely. I want to reach that point in the story, it will be fun and interesting to explore.

2. You keep building up to it. Why not just have them do it?

Yes, I keep building up to it. While I very much appreciate and admire other works and comics that prefer to offer erotic content from the first chapter, the story we are telling here has a slow buildup. I approached this akin to an author writing a book, or a writer preparing a TV episodic series. I give it the time it needs to develop.

3. Is it a free comic?

Yes, the comic will remain free for everyone to enjoy. If you are supporting this project in order to read the pages in advance and join our community, I thank you very much and I welcome you.

Striped Sins is my only bread and butter. It pays my bills and puts food on the table. With the little that remains, I try to support the community by commissioning other artists.

4. But if this is your “full-time job”, why don’t you make more pages, faster?

As stated in the FAQ, there are 4 pages posted each month.

I take great care of my work, releasing pages only when I am happy with them.

Apart from the technical aspects (4-6 types of render), there are also hidden correlations, foreshadowing elements, little playful items that, at close inspection, offer insight into a specific character’s thoughts or mood. Some people enjoy noticing those visual details and analyzing them, and it makes me happy.

Have you looked at the windows and frames throughout the comic so far? Did you notice it yet?

5. Ok but when? When will they have sex?

Whenever they are ready for it – mentally, emotionally, physically.

If you are reading this comic, or supporting it financially, with the exclusive focus on the sexual aspect of it, it might be important for you to read this:

I am very grateful for your support. This comic is important to me and I am thrilled that you are interested in it. If you are the type of person who enjoys novels, who likes adjacent materials to stories (bonus images, QnA with the characters, community voting, chats and theories, making wallpapers together, free audiobook version, free soundtrack, still-trying-to-figure-out high quality printed versions of the comic etc.), then you’ve come to the right place.

However, if you believe you’d rather enjoy materials that provide you with monthly fap sessions, which is perfectly ok to want and seek, this may not be a project you should support. I love, respect and enjoy NSFW content just like you do, but the story buildup and character development are much more important to me.

6. Can you at least give a hint, so I know if I keep supporting or not? In what Chapter will they do it? Otherwise, I don’t think I can support you.

I am very grateful for those who chose to visit for a short while. Even if they don't feel they can support me, I hope they continue to read and enjoy the comic.

If you feel like your support depends on this element, that could be a hint that you might be happier supporting other projects, and I fully endorse that. There are so many beautifully crafted projects out there, so many good characters and stories with much more sex in them – you genuinely should support those whose stories resonate with you better.

If, however, you’d like to stay and give it a chance, enjoying the “dance” that Ryder and Felix are performing, you might appreciate the experience more than those small moments of physical gratification 😊

7. Apart from the comic, what other bonuses do we enjoy here?

Well, at the moment of writing this, the following months we will have new bonus images, I saw beautiful fanart the other day which I’d love to post and credit the artist, I’m preparing a new QnA session with the characters, I’m working on the soundtrack for the next Chapter of the audio book (the voice actors finished their recordings a few days ago), we are all theorizing and laughing in the comments of each page – apart from having such talented artists (and cooks!) in the community, we all seem to share a good sense of humor, and reading through the comments is a pure delight…
