Important update
Added 2022-09-12 07:36:03 +0000 UTCHello, friends!
As you may have heard, a certain company that rhymes with Day-Gal has decided that they will launch mini-digital-robots to scan the internet for those naughty-naughty artists who draw naughty-naughty things.
What does this mean? Well, there can be three outcomes:
1. Nothing happens. All good. We carry on.
2. They ask the company that rhymes with Bay-Tree-On to delete that artist's page and/or stop his income flow
3. They stop the income flow of that artist directly
If #2 or #3 happen, it's ok, we will find a solution together. I have everything backed up, so we won't lose any data.
However, I do recommend you follow me on FA or Twitter, just to make sure we can still keep in touch if I will be unable to message you guys here.
What can we do? Well, here are a few suggestions:
1. Let's avoid drawing attention to ourselves - basically, let's be careful with keywords such as si**er, br**her, in**st, N**W and any other naughty elements written in posts or comments.
2. If you yourself are an artist of the naughties, don't keep any finances on Day-Gal or Bay-Tree-On this period. Extract it.
3. To everyone who is patiently waiting for their commish, it will be fine either way, this will not impact your lovely images. I will finish them in due time.
Thank you for reading. Let's pray for the best outcome for us all.
~Will

That is the gist of what I know. I'm waiting to see if new info appears. Basically, they want to do the same as Youtube - no naughties allowed.

2022-09-14 19:25:38 +0000 UTCGiven I've recently found out first hand how much of a cut 'Day Gal' take from transactions, it would be ridiculous for them to take action against artists who make money off "fun" art. Surely they'd be shooting them in the financial foot. Still, hope things turn out fine. Never like it when companies take a heavy-handed approach that could impact people unfairly.
