Deep cut fact about the Ringo/Doc scene where they meet for the first time. You might notice that everyone laughs at Doc spinning the cup, except Ringo. This could be chalked up to he didn't like Doc making light of his gun play, but if you look at him, it isn't anger in his face; it's fear. Because Ringo noticed something that no one else did: while Doc's cup display was humorous, it was an exact copy of what Ringo had just done. Doc copied him perfectly. Ringo was the only person in the bar who instantly recognized that Doc is a master with the pistol. That fear bears out for the rest of the film as Ringo never wants to face him again.

any western with Sam Elliot the guy who played Virgil- the only 2 living actors who have as much credibility with westerns as Sam is Tom Selleck and Clint Eastwood.

growin up, my best friends, my brothers... one was half spanish, not mexican, half spanish from spain as he loved to remind us and one was black... we all watched this movie at around 19 together.... we were all high n drunk lol... the end of the of the movie we were all goin no you're the F*****(cuz we all teared up) ... we all kinda understood why our parents (our dads) watched westerns... it's a western sure... but it's about friendship... anyways.. this is the first time I actually went okay, I'll do the movie along with the reaction... always want your first time to be great.. dude...why I joined... I already knew you were fn great... this jus another nail in that coffin
