Also - I would LOVE to see you react to Foul Play. Burgess Meredith (Mick) is hilarious in it, along with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. Since you love rom-coms, I think it's perfect for you. It's one of my faves.

2022-08-11 13:57:53 +0000 UTCStallone is amazing in First Blood, too. I HIGHLY recommend. Yeah, a lot of action/violence, but John Rambo is such a tortured soul. It’s really a beautifully sad story in the end and will make you think about how we treat our vets.

Rocky just has that magic that has touched people hearts for decades. And Stallone always said Rocky was a love story about Adrian. And you're right you just saw her recently, Talia Shire plays Connie Corleone in the Godfather, the sister. Amazing that she got 2 iconic roles from 2 iconic franchises. Some people hate on part 5. I'm not one of them. I love all 1 thru 6. Can't wait to see the reactions to the rest. Every single one of them makes me cry for different reasons. The characters are easy to fall in love with. Rocky is a great guy. The scripts are full of great lines, wisdom and inspiration for life. Paulie is that annoying friend that brings a lot of bad takes but family is family. I love Paulie lol. Rockys heart is unmatched. Stallones training for his career and the Rocky films is unmatched, dude nearly killed himself several times to build the body he built throughout the franchise. Part 2 is my absolute favorite bc it really goes deeper into Rocky n Adrian's relationship, more romance. But I love them all and Rocky is a big part of my life. Credit to the underappreciated Sylvester Stallone who invented these characters and wrote every single Rocky script 1-6 himself, and directed 4 of those 6. Stallone is a genius writer, and a great actor. When he dies a part of me will. Just simply one of my greatest inspirations as a kid. You're reaction to the ending is exactly what it should have been. Rare to find a climax so perfectly in film. Aside from Rocky, a few other Stallone films it'd be cool to see reacts to are Cop Land Over the Top Oscar Lock Up
