I cant say it enough, please keep doing that. ๐ Always loved the soundtrack to this film. Crazy that this is a true story. Loved the reaction. "Nobody has whiter teeth than Val Kilmer, I bet he stink" ๐ JL kills me lol Man I wonder if JL would like Real Genius with Val Kilmer. One of my 80s faves. Val is hilarious and great in it. I'm sure you've seen it.

John Patterson wrote a book about it, including an explanation of all the traps he tried that failed. He spent months chasing them around the camp, where they never failed to be on the opposite side from where he was. The final death count was estimated at over THREE HUNDRED people. The lions were huge because they were (obviously) well fed, and it's very hard to kill one with a straight-on shot because of the fatty tissue at the top of their heads where their manes are, it makes it look like you've fired a kill shot when you haven't.
