Dear readers and subscribers,
I am currently engaged almost exclusively with full-time literary production (i.e.: writing books). I have experimented recently with various social media and other distractions (to be perfectly blunt), but my business model, so to speak, is finally coalescing into a reliable, predictable routine.
This routine, alas, does not include social media.
Patreon is my only venue for direct communication with my readers. Unfortunately, for reasons both personal and professional, and specifically not to compromise my creative flow, I only come here intermittently, when I need to give subscribers new books or the occasional update (like this one).
I catch up on your messages and my emails only once every couple of days or even only once a week or two.
I know this may be frustrating to many of you, but this was not an abrupt decision or random act of carelessness. It came only after a lot of trial and error trying to get my business going and, lackadaisical as it may seem, it’s the best schedule for everyone involved in the current stage of my enterprise.
Trust me: not only am I more reliable, but the quality of my work is also far, far superior in this scheme.
I will gladly revise my schedule if and when my writing (and especially my Patreon) goes BIG. For the time being, this is the optimal pace I found to both regularly reward you with goodies and maintain the quality of my books.
