ENTERPRISE s2e6 “Marauders”

It's Seven Samurai with Klingons!  T'Pol has a whole new outfit and the crew has a very questionable strategy to protect some space villagers.

Welcome to your bonus Enterprise pod, Lieutenants!  Post your Enterprise-related comments/questions here for consideration for next month's Enterprise pod!

Not sure whether it's hit BBC America yet, but there's a new series of Toast (set in Hollywood) which features an episode where Toast attends a School of Specific Acting....

In regards to Matt's comment about how they should just blow up the Klingons. . . Yes. They're Pirates. This is a good example of how the writers of Star Trek could really benefit from opening a history book rather than than just remaking the plots of good movies. Star Trek is Age of Sail, not the Old West. "Wagon Train to the Stars" not withstanding. Earth nations of the time always had a "shoot on sight" order against pirates, because they were a threat to shipping. I don't understand why Enterprise refuses to use the word. It's always "raiders" and they're missing out on plots because of it. Then again, "Pirates of the Carribean" didn't come out until after this episode was made, so maybe pirates were still Hollywood taboo because of the Geena Davis movie whose name I can't remember.
