Matt and Andy have very different views on this whole new style for season three, starting with Archer’s haircut! 2023-01-12 03:33:01 +0000 UTCAs I recall from a DVD extra or something like that, when they got to Season 3 of Enterprise they wanted to do something that the Star Trek audience has normally responded to. Can't recall the criteria, but they determined the audience responded the best when Earth itself was under threat (Star Trek IV, First Contact, etc), so they had Earth being attacked the storyline.
