Hey everyone going to be deleting both my Instagram and Facebook to focus more on meaningful interactions and community. I’ll be putting more energy into my Discord channel to do that.

Hey Greg, awesome. We deleted facebook and instagram a few months back ans was one of the best decisions that we made both personally and as a business. So much more free time to make meaningful interactions with our subscribers. Its great to see you taking the step too. People who truly are meant to connect with you will. My YouTube is what is most important for me. & the majority of my followers. If some don’t want to join Discord that ok. Many people don’t follow my FB or even have IG or care.

While I understand your reasoning behind your decision, I only really use FB, so this will be a negative impact. I have other social medias, but FB is the one I use the most. You might find that some of your fan base use one over the other, or may not care to get involved with Discord. I did have Discord, but that is mostly a social media platform for gamers, so when you started your Discord, I was not interested in that social media platform. I signed up. I looked around. Just not for me. You might find this to be true with other fans and other social media platforms. For those that only choose to use FB and/or IG, this will be a negative impact for you. I love that you do have multiple social medias, but your fan base is large partially on account to having multiple social medias. I love that you have options and not just one, as most of my social media is FB. I hardly use my other accounts. If you have not done so already, I would maybe compare numbers, maybe post a poll, and see what type of response you get before deleting any accounts. I would give it another thought.

On discord, there’s a channel that is “content” that has all my videos I post. It automatically posts to Discord when I post a new video on YouTube
