I tend to think of Season 5 as having a 4-part finale. Episodes 19-22 pretty much form one continuous story arc.

Also, I wish people would have fucking stoped with the Ben and Glory innuendos. Shannon had a lot of that...

I think with the converging of Ben and Glory, it made Ben develop narcissism. Before I didn’t realize this

I honestly didn’t think they were very spoilery since nobody really did spoil what happened in the particular episode. I just think it was already a tradition amongst all the Buffyverse reactors that people would always put those jokes in the comment sections because they’re just overly excited and they wanted to tease the reactor. I do agree that it can get out of hand sometimes though, but we don’t really mean no harm about it. LOL

I feel ya 😭 Willow calling out dissociation as not a long-term way to face guilt..."Hello?? That [bad thing you're afraid could more and more likely happen]? Not happened yet!" Just gonna lay my avoidance-anxiety soul bare like that, huh?

My Top 3 episode. 😭 I feel like I can relate to this episode so much. Sometimes in life, there are times when I just feel like how Buffy feels here: trapped in my own guilt or sadness because of things I can’t control in my life.

Ugh, I'm sorry you got so many spoilery Ben & Glory comments. I always see SO MANY of them whenever a reactor gets to that part of the arc, I don't get how commenters don't see how that can ruin the impact of this scene. I'm glad you still enjoyed it anyway!

What are you saying? ..Does Spike... think there's some sort of connection between Ben and Glory? Where did that come from?

The reason Spike could remember that Ben is Glory is because any demons and vampires can. All of the Glorificus worshiping demons would have to be able to remember to be able to help and protect Ben while they grew up, and serve any of Glory's whims.

I have the same Sunnydale High shirt, nice! Weight of the World is not my list of faves from season 5, but the finale sure is! Enjoy...
Oh I HATED that Ben turning into Glory scene. It went on WAY too long.
I like Tara's pajama bottoms with the moon and stars on there.

Incorrect, long before the season was finished it was announced it was moving to the UPN network. They signed a two year deal and knew that it was going to continue on.
When it was originally conceived Joss had considered it as a way to end the show...but ultimately changed his mind.

Excellent. Now...do we suspect there may be some kind of connection between Ben and Glory? 🤔

5x22... the 100th episode. The series finale. Not just the season finale, but the original series finale.
This episode was a good look into how Buffy must have seriously and genuinely felt about the situation with Dawn.
