2025-06-06 09:16:07 +0000 UTCYes, it is out of place tonally and diminishes Ellie's revenge quest throughout the season. It's a shame because there are some absolutely incredible parts about this show, including the acting imo, but just some of the most bizarre adaptation decisions i've ever seen.
