Damn. I tried to continue to compare and contrast Xander and Sokka, but then I realized it was getting a little bit spoilery. Soooo... grr argh.

I guess this is really the first big episode. An episode where "Things will never be the same". I'm surprised there aren't more comments here for this episode. Maybe people are saving their typing muscles for season finales.

And I don't know exactly when it happened, but they've stepped it up a notch with the animation, Aang kicking that fireball is 👌. The quality of animation is one of this show's overall strengths, but I think they may have had to limit themselves a bit in the first half of the season.

He’s a little like Xander in that way, the sarcastic jokester with some practical skill and know how that other “superpowered” group members don’t have..
