Hi all :)

Since the last recap, quite a lot happened!

First of all, the new rendering rig was built!
You can find more details about that in this post.
I've also gotten a new monitor, so if the previews' colors look off/weird, please let me know! I might have to better calibrate my screen.

April 8th was Duality's 1-year anniversary!
If you haven't seen it already, here's the image-set to celebrate the occasion.

Also, work has started on Tiffany's new "daily routine" scene, as it won the last poll.

Setting up the new computer delayed things a bit, and I wanted to have some good previews from Tiffany's scene to show. :)

Work done since the last recap:

• Set up the new rendering PC!
• Made the "Anniversary" image-set.
• Started work on Tiffany's new scene.

Update Progress: 85% done!

The new rendering PC.
It was a huge investment, and it took a while to build and set-up, but man... it was worth it!

Spending the last few days working on the new machine made me understand that my old hardware had definitely started to hold me back.

Like I had hoped, much of the dead time where the PC has to load or process something has been greatly shortened, allowing me to produce images faster.

Of course, the extra power also allows me to render with higher detail and visual fidelity, although this won't be truly seen until v0.1.7, as the coming update has been produced and rendered on the old PC for the most part.

In the time since the last recap, Duality turned 1 year old!

The images from "Anniversary" set were actually the first to be rendered on the new machine.

Compared to the previous 4K image-sets, you should be able to notice a higher degree of detail in the girls' skins and hair, as well as on intricate clothing patterns.

Tiffany's new scene.
Work has now started on Tiffany's first "daily routine" scene.

The poll's post already contained a brief description of it, but now that more work has been done on it, I can reveal a few more details.

As always, some things could be changed/adjusted as the scene is developed and tested.

!!! SPOILERS AHEAD !!!

The scene will take place in the house's livingroom, during the afternoon.
Tiffany will be on the couch, visibly frustrated.
Upon getting closer, MC will find out that she's playing on her phone, and she's definitely not winning.

After a brief exchange where MC boasts about his gaming skills, an annoyed Tiffany will impulsively bet that he won't be able to beat the level she's been having trouble with.
Here, players will have the choice to either accept the bet or to counter it, betting instead that she wouldn't be able to beat the level herself.

Accepting it will have more Feelings related options, whereas countering it will focus on Respect.
Both paths will also have one Perversion outcome/variation, which will be unlocked after viewing Tiff's first Perversion scene.

Should MC accept the bet, he'll have a choice on what to ask in case of a win.

There will be a few options, but Tiffany will only agree to the tamer ones at this stage of her development, recoiling in disgust at the lewder ones.
After successfully setting the terms of the bet, Tiffany will hand MC her phone.
In order to successfully beat the level, he will have to pass a very simple choice-based "minigame".

I'm not 100% set on how the minigame will play just yet, but my current idea is to present the player with a description of an RPG boss archetype, and a few possible choices on the strategy to beat the scenario.
What is certain, is there will be a "pay2win" option, where MC will spend some of his money on Tiffany's account to power up her characters and easily win the stage. Tiffany will love this choice.
Either way, the minigame is going to be quite easy and quick, and won't get in the way.

If MC picked the "pay2win" choice, Tiffany will spring to her feet, snatch the phone out of MC's hands and casually sit in his lap while spending the freshly purchased currency.
She will also have a random chance to become overjoyed, causing her to bump and grind against MC's crotch in her jubilations.

Should MC beat the level, Tiffany will be happy to finally be past it (although somewhat bummed she didn't win the money).
She will grant MC his  agreed-upon reward, and the scene will end.
In case of a loss, MC will be parting ways with some of his cash.

After viewing Tiffany's first Perversion scene, an extra variation will be unlocked.
Here, if MC has picked the right choice to beat the level, Tiff will try to mischievously distract him in order to make him fail and win the bet herself.
To do that, she will rest her bare feet on MC's thigh, and although she will "play dumb", her intentions will definitely be to arouse MC.

MC will be able to either focus on winning the game, or focus on her feet, which will grant a few extra shots of them but will cause him to lose the game.
If the "pay2win" option was selected, Tiffany will still rest her feet on MC's thigh, but this time as a reward. In this case MC will also be able to look at them and still win the game.

The scene would then continue normally, to either the winning or losing outcome.

As Tiffany's character gets developed, she will agree to lewder rewards.
The rewards will vary greatly, and they will go as far as full fledged lovemaking, eventually.

Countering the bet
Should MC counter Tiffany's bet, he will instead propose to bet on whether she will be able to beat the level or not.

Spited, Tiffany will accept.
After some back and forth, the conditions will be set.

For each defeat, Tiffany will have to lose a piece of clothing, but should she win, MC would have to pay her some money (twice the original bet).

What comes next is exactly that.
She will begin playing the game, having only a small chance of victory.
For each loss, she will take off a piece of clothing, although at this stage of her development, she will call it quits after finding herself in her undies.
If I manage to find a fitting loose hairstyle, she will also undo her pigtails.

After a certain point, MC will have the option to pull out his "manhood", to pleasure himself.
Tiffany will not be amused, and will run away, letting the whole house know of his perverted deed. This will result in a loss of Feelings for Tiffany, June and Charlee.

If the player has viewed her first Perversion scene though, Tiffany will still leave the room, but she'll have a different reaction and will not alert the other girls.

As Tiffany's character gets developed, more outcomes will be created for this scene.
Eventually she will fully strip, and once fully naked, MC will be able to ask her to perform a variety of sexual and humiliating acts.

And so that's Tiffany's latest scene...

Once I'm finished developing it, I'll be making a few minor outcomes for some of Ruca's scenes, and then the update will finally be ready to be released.

On that note, we're getting really close to the new update now!
I don't want to give an exact release date just yet, as I have a pretty bad track record when it comes to respecting them.
That said, you can definitely expect the update to come out this month.
