Of course, this is reopening a recent (semi-)controversy as to whether she should actually watch all the sequels/prequels to a movie if they had any, or to let them have to win in a poll themselves in order for her to watch them. This comes after previously polling us as to whether or not to continue the "Terminator" series after the second movie - which was shot down (forcing me to temporarily join her top tier in order to have her to get her to watch the third movie, which I still consider to be worthwhile) - but then went right ahead and watched the whole "Beverly Hills Cop" trilogy unsolicited -- particularly the much-maligned third movie. This is all fine to me, considering that she also previously reacted to the dreadful Di$ney Star Wars movies unsolicited (basically establishing a lowest-common-denominator precedence), but going against that threw a wrench into proceedings. While, as with "Jaws," I prefer to think that the "Exorcist" sequels never happened, I don't deny their right for Duaffy to react to them.

2021-11-11 14:17:36 +0000 UTCAnd now you need to watch The Exorcist 3. Skip part two it's a turd. The 3rd one is directed by Peter Blatty who wrote the original novel and also the screen play for part 3. Underrated but extremely effective. It has some great performances especially by Brad Dourif.
