Bit of worldbuilding this week I think.

A loose concept for Etia, Kor's grandmother and the beloved Queen of the Illesh Kingdom for many years. She was born into a Patrician family, a lower noble family in a small village but showed incredible talent as a mage from a young age. So much so that she was invited to be part of the Royal Circle of Mages within the Southern Palace of which Tynan was King. During the incredibly bloody Civil War between the Southern Palace and Northern Palace it was decided Tynan needed strong children adept with magic, so an offer was made to be his wife, which she accepted and she had Sanna and Nero. Years later, Tynan died in a battle, and Etia became the new Queen. Not long after, along with the help of her two children, she finally united the two palaces.

With an absolutely wicked sense of humor, Etia was very mischievous and fun to be around. So much so that the usually stoic King Tynan would actually laugh at her jokes. She displayed incredibly deep empathy especially for the lower classes of people

She unfortunately died in a [REDACTED] leaving behind her adult children. She's remembered incredibly fondly for bringing in sweeping changes that brought more autonomy to those outside the cities, ending the civil war and also beginning negotiations with the smaller races in the upper continents.
