Yet you know, I spend my time praising sobriety, and it's not me who is going to complain about sobriety. If your face isn't like that 😶 I'll tell you that you're overplaying. So it’s very good, but it’s just that it’s quite destabilizing compared to what you’ve accustomed us to. Just yesterday, I was commenting on the photo of Shadowheart, with lots of details, very sophisticated, so many details that there were even some you hadn't seen. And today I'm commenting on that. It’s destabilizing. And that’s extremely good news 😋 The goal of art is to be destabilizing, to shake your convictions, to make you think differently, through sensations. Precisely, in his essay Critique of Judgment, the philosopher Emmanuel Kant makes the distinction between the pleasure arts, what today we would call entertainment, and the fine arts ( high arts ), which are actually basically true art, saying that what makes the fine arts specific is that they are a mode of knowledge, a mode of knowing the world 💚🌿 And this new sensitive information that you have about the world through fine arts, not entertainment, precisely as new information and new sensations, is destabilizing, since it changes, shakes up the sensitive representation that you had of the world. So art, real art, is destabilizing, and the opposite of destabilization, comfort, is precisely the mark of everything that is popular, of entertainment, of popular films, of popular music 🤔 And that’s why we live in a world where 90% of people all look at the same thing, all listen to the same things, that people have no taste in art, and that often, the most popular things are the least aesthetically interesting, and all of this, is perfectly logical. So I don't blame anyone. But popular interesting things are always exceptions, and that’s why I sincerely wish myself never to succeed and never be successful 🫡 Because I'm not a salesman, I'm not a shopkeeper, I'm not a pathetic little human with his ridiculous ego ( still a little 😅 ) but I try not to be, I'm not even an “artist”, just, I make art, that’s why I’m here on earth. And if one day I'm popular, that will just mean that I failed in my mission. What was I saying ? Oh yes, the photo, of course 😅 ! So it’s a little unsettling, and I love it. And beyond that, this destabilization even has a concrete effect, because if we divide the image in two, with you and the background, as the background is very sober and simple, there is almost nothing. We actually can’t hold on to anything, there is no element on which we can fixate, and create a comfort area. It's like finding yourself with nothing in the middle of the ocean 💙🌊 And it’s precisely this destabilization of this part of the image, which will push us, literally suck us into the other part of the image, you, and precisely, into the comfort of your arms, and the warmth of your presence 💖 So it's really something that in the way it attracts us to you in the image is very powerful, as if you were the most massive star in the universe and you attracted all the other celestial bodies towards you. And so obviously, this puts you forward and makes your presence extremely intense, sweet and warm 🥰 In this dialectic of the image, there is almost an effect of tension and release, as in the cinema, after a scene of increasing tension, the release, or in music, after a dissonant chord, the chord which resolves this harmonic tension, and in the fact that this subtle tension of the image, of this decor and this background of which we can’t hold on to anything, really, leads, to the resolution, which is your wonderful angelic and warm presence 💛✨ So it’s really something awesome about the image, and it makes your presence, your body and every part of you even more beautiful. Then, if I spent a little time on this at the beginning, it's because there are actually a lot of other things that I've already mentioned before. Obviously, the naturalistic tone of the image which makes you and your body exist in a very tangible and intense way 🔥🧡 The very soft and sweet light, which contributes to the naturalistic and peaceful atmosphere, and which makes your skin absolutely magnificent, so silky, so delicate, so creamy, and whose tone is literally that of vanilla. Also these matching black underwear, very sober, direct and powerful, and whose contrast brings out your magnificent vanilla flesh even more 💎✨ Finally, of course, the pose and the expression, which as always, are very delicate, very elegant and graceful, which make your body even sweeter and adorable, and which make your face absolutely bewitching and captivating, with that mischievous and that really lovely playful smile. And, there was a 6 hour gap between what I wrote this morning and what I wrote this afternoon, so I hope the comment is still consistent and still makes sense 😅 But I am very interested in this photoshoot, I appreciate it very much, and this naturalistic magic which emerges from the image and from your tangible and powerful presence is really wonderful, you are magnificent like that ! Just want to see more ! 💗✨ Btw, completely coincidentally, Gens shared some photos on her channel of Will/Margo cosplaying a character from Hazbin Hotel, and, wow, it was so incredible actually, I was shocked 🤯 And, now, I know her at least a little, as you did a photoshoot together, and that this photoshoot was really awesome and wonderful, and, are you thinking about what I'm thinking 👀 ? Her as Husk, you as Angel Dust, a duo photoshoot… Seriously, isn't that an insane idea ? I don't know. You probably didn't need me to think of that 😅 This is actually quite obvious. But I just wanted to share my thoughts about it. It really looks like an incredibly sweet idea, and if you do it one day, I would really love to see that ! 🙂💗
