BUT ... nearly everyone in their lifetime has personally known or has known of a legendary "Don Juan, Lady's Man, etc." that NEVER got rejected AND married the woman he set his eyes on. The exception to the rule to be sure, but a reality none the less. Also, if a person is physically deemed by society as unattractive or ugly, that exponentially increases the rejection factor, more so than just having a boring or lousy personality. Some can compensate with getting in shape or minimal makeup but again is an exception. Then there's also financial/social status to consider. People sometimes just have to lower their expectations and settle to reduce the rejection factor. And divorce or a long-term relationship break up is a hell of a lot different than being rejected for asking someone out on a date or flirtation. I'm just saying.
