I have been so much into Hollow Knight again lately, fault of my close friends to be honest, so i had to draw my long-overdue Knightsona version of the game! Dont worry, this wont count over the art of the week as i promised, youll still get another artwork by the end of the week~
His name is Viridian! Or Vidi for short and friends~ As one of the many vessels of the Pale King and White Lady, he was designed to contain and fight the Infection. Born in the Abyss with Void inside his shell, he was the one of many who escape his birthhome after being closed off, however at some point of his journey in search for purpose, he grew close to the Greenpaths after feeling some kind of connection with the enviroment and the mosskin who lived in the area, after meeting Unn and finding the Elder Ancient "Sap" Tree he is given the title of "Prince of the Greenpaths" and so as succesor of Unn, he now works into protecting his new home and people, as well as to rebuild the mosskin tribe into a new Kingdom.
Some of the abilities of Vidi include the manipulation of plants and flora, as well as a connection to minor insects like mini butterflies and so on. After connecting and fusing with the Elder Ancient Tree, he also got the ability to generate, consume and use Sap from within his endo body, which he not only uses in form for his attacks, but also depending how much sap he stores, he becomes and grows bigger and stronger! Dont let his "fun size" form fool you tho, he has fully grown into a full adult long time ago, his magic cape, when covering his body reverts him into his younger form, while if he were to uncover his body, his true body/form reveals itself as he grows to his real size, its kinda like a magic compression shirt!
