Hello all! The biggest RPG convention in Finland and the Nordic countries is now behind us and I have some news related to that and the upcoming month.

Ropecon and The Golden Dragon

Let's get to this first:  I GOT THE GOLDEN DRAGON AWARD! WOOHOO! :D

"The Golden Dragon award is a lifetime achievement award given annually to an accomplished pioneer or veteran of the Finnish role-playing game industry. The Golden Dragon award was given for the first time in 2003.

The Golden Dragon award is as much an acknowledgement of one’s lifetime achievements in the field of gaming, as it is an award for promoting and contributing to the Finnish role-playing scene in the larger cultural context. The award acknowledges contributions done both outside and inside the game industry. The award is given out by a jury consisting of invited professionals and prominent figures within the gaming industry, as well as of members appointed by the yearly organizers of Ropecon."

So, it is actually a pretty big thing for a Finnish RPG designer. I'm very happy and honored to get recognized as one of the most important and influential persons in the Finnish RPG industry and scene. 

As said, Ropecon is a big event by Finnish (and Nordic) standards and it always keeps me busy at least for a few weeks before the event. This, and my summer vavation, has also reflected on my productivity here on Patreon on July, but now that Ropecon is behind us, I have again more time to focus on new maps. 

A Dozen Dungeons, vol. 1

I published my first fantasy-themed map collection in Ropecon. It is a collection of my maps released before here on Patreon. A pdf and POD version of the collection is coming available on DrivethruRPG and RPGnow soon. I'll post a separate post about this once it's available. 

My plan is to make a separate scifi/modern-themed map collection soonish and continue these two lines over time. 

Pledge Level Updates

I'm going to streamline my Pledge levels a bit during the upcoming weeks. Basically I'm going to drop some pledge levels and I've been asked a couple of times about commercial use-rights, so I'll try to incorporate a level designed exclusively for that. More about this also, once I got the details figured out.
