Buried Under the Twin Suns
Added 2016-09-19 21:45:50 +0000 UTCDuring the last #mapvember I made a map of a spaceship buried in snow or ice. I find the idea of something buried into the ground waiting to be found very interesting and this was also one of the first things for me to write down to my idea list on Trello.
Eventually I got the line art for this made in September, but did not have time to finish this at that time. So, now, a few weeks later I finally have this finished. I also decided to add some natural caverns there with some strange objects in them. I thought that this would make an interesting twist when scavenging the wreck or looking for survivors.
How this was done?
I drew a draft of this map on an A4 paper first, scanned it and printed out in A3 / tabloid size. Then I drew the details and scanned it again. Finally I colored the pic in Photoshop and here it is :)
