Awesome! We have reached a new goal!

"Tower Seven"
When I reach 220 patrons, I will do a map of a huge multi-level space hulk floating in space with a short introduction to the Hyperstorm universe. This will be part of the Hyperstorm space opera campaign setting.

First of all, what is Hyperstorm?
Hyperstorm is a space opera setting I've been working on together with Hans Zenjuga (Illustrations in this post by Hans) for a few years already. We started off with a more generic setting based on the idea "D&D in space", but recently it has gravitated toward a more mystic sci-fi setting with something you could call fantasy elements. Also, we decided to use my Finnish sci-fi RPG, Heimot, as the setting.
While making these changes and updates, we decided to go to silent mode until we had enough stuff to introduce.
This goal introduces the "new" Hyperstorm.

Huge black iron megastructures called "Towers" are one of the main elements in the Hyperstorm universe. The thirteen singularity-level godhead AIs use these towers as their mobile bases and physical manifestations in our material universe. Often the godhead AIs are simply called The Towers.
Together the Towers maintain a virtual dimension called Fractal. It is a world created by the first of the singularity-level AIs and it was essential for maintaining the Hegemonia's fargate network before its collapse.
After several millennia of symbiotic co-existence with humanity and many other species and cultures that became part of the Hegemonia during its rule, the Towers divided into warring factions, and the AI civil war resulted in an apocalyptic event known as Hyperstorm.
Hyperstorm swept through Hegemonia gate worlds in a matter of seconds and caused most of the fargates to collapse into transient gravitational singularities that tore whole worlds into shatters and divided the Hegemonia into multiple smaller factions fighting for the vanishing technology and resources.
The Towers did not survive the Hyperstorm and its aftermath, The Collapse, unscathed. All but three of the towers went missing. Tower Seven is one of the ten lost Towers and it was found deep in the Dead Zone severely damaged.
It looks like a huge spine made of black iron drifting in space. It seems lifeless on the outside, but inside there is still something alive and awake.
A many dauntless treasure hunter has entered the Tower and tried to find a way to its core which is told to hold the secret to unlimited energy, knowledge, and immortality.

I'll start working on Tower Seven and Hyperstorm introductory kit right away and keep you updated. Tower Seven will be made in multiple phases (more details will follow). The estimated delivery for the early access introductory kit for my Patrons is January 2020.
