November News

Hi there! We are well into November already, but here's a short sit-rep from my secret base. 

Situation &  Upcoming Releases 

I have a huge commission in the works, which is taking a lot of my time, but line art versions for all the Patreon releases coming out this month are drawn and two of the maps are already prepared for release. 

I try to get the third map done next week and dedicate some time to the pending PDFs. I've been thinking about the best practice with those, and I'm starting to lean on a monthly digest collecting all of the maps from the previous month into one PDF, instead of a growing collection. There arose some practical issues with that. For example, I don't think it would be very practical to receive a new version of the same file every month, and it would grow eventually into a huge file over time and would be slower to download and browse through.  But, more about the PDF soon.

Mapvember + Special Offer

Mapvember is half-way through. I'm a bit behind the schedule myself, but intend to catch up next week. It's been really nice to see people joining the challenge more than ever before. 

There's still the special offer open for new and current patrons. All patrons who belong to the Adventurer ($7) or higher tier, will receive a PDF collection of 30 B&W maps in December.

Goal Reached: New Work Chair!

I have a really stoic work chair right now in my home office. It's a wooden chair with no adjustments, and without going into details, working a few hours straight on that chair is a real pain in the ass... literally speaking. 

Anyways, now I don't have to worry about that anymore for long as I can start looking into a better and more comfortable work chair. Thank you for your support!

Streaming and Videos

Streams and videos are back on the menu! I have recorded my map drawing sessions and recently started streaming them again on Twitch.  I have currently three maps waiting for being edited and uploaded, so new content coming again next week, and a new stream is coming probably on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The collaboration with DM Dave is delayed due to other urgent deadlines. DM Dave has been still working on the setting, so stuff is coming out probably late-November or early December.  More about his too, when I get some details. 

Monthly Public Posts

I have published public versions of my map releases on my website, but I have avoided releasing duplicate posts on Patreon. (I used to have different versions of my maps - a public, basic, premium, etc... - and this resulted in a huge load of posts that were not relevant to all. But I figured out a way to do public releases through Patreon also, without making it too spammy. From now on, I will make roughly once a month a public post with the previous month's public releases. 

October's maps are probably coming out already tomorrow.
