Happy New Year & Status Update

And second, give you a quick update.

I'm still working on three more maps. The line art is done and they are scanned, but the coloring is still on its way. Holidays have gone by with the family, and I haven't had quite as much time to make maps for the past week or so, as I originally planned. But I'll finish the December maps as soon as possible. 

The same goes for the mapvember collection and the rest of the stuff that I'm working on (Inktober collection and Summer & Fall 2019 map collection). They are being worked on, but I'm running out of hours before the end of the month. These will be delivered to you first thing in January with the rest of the December maps. 

Talking about January... 

I've been working on the relaunch thingie. I'm still working on some details, but I have a quite final draft in my hands. Basically, the only thing I'm still considering is what I'm going to do with Fantasy maps. Probably I'm going to focus on the monthly vote results (coming also very soon!) and see how this all develops. If it seems that it's mostly modern & sci-fi, I'll figure out what to do with the fantasy-themed maps, if necessary. Otherwise, I'll go with the flow.

First of all, patrons with current tiers are going to retain their benefits until further notice. The new tiers will affect only new patrons. So, unless you want to switch to a new tier, you do not have to do anything. 

Here's my current plan for the new tiers. As said, these will affect only new patrons or if you switch to one of these tiers when they become available. Also, please note that these are still subject to change:
 

$2 - Scout

• One Map Pack per Month (The map with most votes)
• Patreon feed
• Voting

$5 - Explorer

• All previous tier rewards   
• Unlimited Map packs (target for 2020 is to release on at least 5 maps per month)
• Discord Backstage
• Map Archive

$7 - Adventurer

• All previous tier rewards   
• Bonus content
• Quarterly PDF Map Collections
• Name in the credits

$10+ - Hero

• All previous tier rewards 
• Layered PSD files
• High-resolution files, with 1” squares and 300 dpi resolution (when applicable, all maps are not practical for this) 
• Extra votes +5
• Mastermind Chat - VIP Discord access for discussion about upcoming maps, map suggestions, etc.
• If you pledge $25 or more, you can use my maps commercially as long as you are my patron. You do not have to pull out the products after you quit your patronage. 

Mastermind, paragon and Ultra tiers will not be no longer available to new Patrons. Instead the Hero tier will be scalable. For starters, there will be the commercial use subscription option for $25+ pledges, but after I see how this works I'll consider other options.

Current Masterminds, Paragons, Ultras will receive their pending rewards and retain the commercial use rights. 

That's all for now. Now I have to catch a few hours of sleep before the preparations for the New Year :)
