Blacksite Biolab Psi-Zero

Only a few people in the company know about the P-0, or "Psi-Zero", initiative and what it is really about. It's something that is not discussed and people who have become too curious have found themselves laid-off with a shoddy excuse. 

Basement Extension P-0

The actual testing laboratories and quarters for the volunteer test subjects are located underground in an extension with isolated network and power systems, and outer walls laced with lead sheets and gold-laced nets. For all purposes, the facility is a Faraday cage, but in addition to letting in or out any kind of electromagnetic radiation, it blocks efficiently noetic quantum waves. Why? No one really knows, but it seems to work. 

The personnel in the facility are trained to keep the test subjects at a safe distance and activate the quarantine protocols if any signs of sensory distortion, reality manipulation, or mind-control are observed. Usually when someone has activated the emergency lockdown situation is cleared in a matter of hours. There have been three fatal incidents in total, but now the facility has been under quarantine for the last 27 hours and no contact has been made with the personnel or the test subjects. 

The Fractures in Reality

When you enter the P-0 facility under quarantine conditions, you might encounter some of the following phenomena (roll 1d10):

• 1 - Incomprehensible whispering nearby while no one cannot be seen.
• 2 - Objects and bodies floating in the air.
• 3 - A glimpse of someone, or something, moving through a wall.
• 4 - Highly amplified emotional responses.
• 5 - Sudden hallucination of worms and insects crawling under a person's skin.
• 6 - Unexpected shifts in gravity.
• 7 - Multiple deja vu sensations in a short period of time.
• 8 - Electronic glitches. Devices turning on and off, security monitors showing a video feed of events a few seconds, or even hours, into the future. 
• 9 - A dark cloud of dust moving like a living being - or a swarm of tiny insects.
• 10 - Extreme changes in temperature.
