Valerian Square Market District (40x40)

Valerian Square is a small market district built on a slope. The district is known for its many specialty shops and masters of peculiar crafts and arcane arts. 

The small market square at the center of the district, Valerian Square (#17), has a small booths and tents selling herbs, spices, amulets, trinkets and other specialty goods. You might even find a fortuneteller or an exotic performer there. 

In addition to the shops and workshops there are other places of interest to go to.

Bottomless Barrel is a local tavern (#18), which is very famous among local adventurers, arcanists, and treasure hunters. 

People claim that  the best food in the district is served in Plate & Meal (#11), which is run by a retired knight and adventurer, Bristo Gaens.  The restaurant specializes in exotic foods, like manticore meat and gelatinous vanilla cubes.
