300 Maps by the End of the Year
Added 2020-09-22 12:35:25 +0000 UTCIn January I made a new year's resolution that I will make 300 maps by the end of the year. I'm quite a lot behind, but I still intend to make this happen.
This is just to notify you so you won't be surprised when i start to push out maps with limited content. I will make these maps VTT compatible (140 px per square and aligned to the grid), but to save time per map I will make only one gridded and gridless variation per map and might release some of the maps as old-school-style black & white maps. I will tag these as bonus maps to keep things simple.
In addition to these bonus maps, I will publish my normal releases with variants as usual.

Well, I consider this as a challenge I'm more than willing to take. I have noticed that I've been lately a bit stuck with drawing as I used to draw at work on coffee breaks, but during the remote work I haven't had this routine. I would like to make more different maps to practice more and get my routines in place to speed up drawing in general. This would be perfect practice for this. Still, I'm not going to cut corners with my five monthly main maps and if this does not work out at least I gave a try :) Also, I happen to have a bunch of line art ready and just waiting for some finishing touches and colors. The only thing is that they are mostly hand-drawn on paper, and the lines might be a bit thick for VTT use.

2020-09-22 13:11:17 +0000 UTCI wasn't around when you made that promise, so maybe ask those who were, but I feel like it's best you work at whatever rythm best suits you. Particularly in this absurd year, it would be unfair to hold someone to such a stringent promise! Either way, I'm excited to see what you have in store for us!
