Problems with TIFF layers -> Moving back to PSDs

This message is especially to my Hero tier patrons, but might interest others too so I made this post public.
Just recently I got informed about an issue with the TIFF file layers in GIMP and started investigating the issue with the help of one of my patrons. Seems like the TIFF files are all flat in GIMP and Krita, while they open just fine with layers in Photoshop. On the other hand, it seems like there are no similar issues with the PSD files. Therefore, I will move back to using PSDs instead of TIFFs.
As soon as possible, I will save the layered files as PSDs to fix this issue. Please let me know if there are certain TIFF files, you would need fixed, so I'll prioritize my work as needed.
