Out of Curiosity... More Maps or Variants?
Added 2020-09-25 08:32:24 +0000 UTCI've been thinking which is the best way to use my time working on the maps. More maps or variants (day/night, different environments, themes, etc.)?
Variants take usually take a day from me to prepare, which is usually the same it takes to make the line art for a medium-sized map or to complete a smaller map.
Which do you prefer?

This is a very interesting approach and something I would like to pursue. I'll have to think about this and how to get this done. It's very likely that I'm going to update my tiers a bit in January 2021, so I could try to make some experiments before this to see how this would work with my current workflow. I would like to get into making VTT assets and tokens, but currently, I haven't had the time to delve into this.I work mostly on my iPad for practical reasons and it's easiest to just draw all the linework at one go. I hope I could move to do this full-time as soon as possible, so this would not be a problem and I could work mostly at my workstation.

2020-09-27 19:10:27 +0000 UTCMore than day/night variants I'd love to have modern/scifi or fantasy/modern variants of maps. Basically just swap the layer with all the furniture =) Or maybe an intact building / building with collapsed corner variants.
