New Goal Reached! PDF maps

I recently passed a goal of 700 patrons! This is super-awesome and this brings me pretty much half-way to my ultimate goal of becoming a full-time RPG cartographer and content creator. The next goal is at 750 patrons and at that point, I'll start offering map assets on a regular basis (monthly or every second month).

This also means that I start to offer 300dpi PDF versions of my maps with all the upcoming maps.

I know that at this time printed maps are not the popular option around the world because everyone cannot play face-to-face around the same table right now, but I believe things will change for the better over time. Meanwhile, I'll start collecting a library of PDF maps, so when the time is right, you have the option to use the PDF versions for easy printing for miniature use.

For you who use printed maps I have a question: Do you ever use maps without a grid or are gridded maps a standard for you? These PDFs are 10+ MB apiece and over time this will grow into a significant amount of space needed. So, if there is no need for gridless PDFs, for example, I see no point in storing them.

Thank you for your support!

Best,

Miska

Congrats on 700 patrons! And thanks for the many gridless maps that work so well in Roll20

Congratulations on 700 Patrons!!! One solution to the gridless vs gridded maps could be to use layers in the pdf. It would solve the storage problem and the grid layer could be toggled on or off depending on your needs.
