Docking Bay Gate 42

This map is designed to be a dock area junction or gate leading to a docking bay. The horizontal wider road leads to the other gates on the docking ring or arm and is mainly used by small vehicles to transport passengers or cargo for longer distances. The ramp and exit on top lead to a docking bay. 

At the bottom edge, there is a small elevated waiting area, an elevator, and a tunnel leading to other parts of the space colony. 

About the Map Design

I wanted to include different elevations to offer some opportunities to use athletic or acrobatic maneuvers and hiding spots. There are some pillars and crates scattered around the map to provide cover, but also open areas to make movement risky if you want to move across the map.

I can see GMs who may not be using lighting would like the more dramatic paint. Could be I’m an outlier here…

Yea just a neutral background gives the gm more options, once you bake in the shading you’ve made some decisions about the scene, and placement of light sources. Otherwise it’s easy enough to jump into an image editor to tint or add color overlays if needed. Your no props version here is a good neutral example, all I meant was that you don’t actually have to provide it bare of prop contents.
