A Question About The Maps and Assets...
Added 2022-01-07 07:25:48 +0000 UTCI've been going through the past surveys and some comments and something caught my attention. I've been thinking if I'm spending too much time on details in comparison to the most common uses of my maps.
Clearly, a majority of the responses prefer a "medium level of detail". This is still a bit broad term and I'd like to have a better understanding of what this actually means to You.
As a reference, I consider most of my maps and assets to be of a "high level of detail".

Help me get a better picture of this and select all that are important or relevant to you. Please note that most maps have a separate "unpropped" version without any furniture or other decorations, or a "dark" or "night" version with dark lighting.
Thank you!

I use maps in two ways. I often use them as part of a larger custom map (mega dungeon type stuff) or as is, for specific locations etc. A propped and unproped version at medium detail and minimal lighting/fog etc. Is probably the sweet spot. Frag Maps does a nice job of slicing all the assets and map components apart, but the detail level is very high.
