The Next Scenario: Which System?
Added 2022-01-13 09:34:25 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
With the latest map pack, Small Xenomorph Nest, I published a mini-adventure "Nest Control" (available to Hero and higher-tier patrons). That adventure is Starfinder compatible, however, the game mechanics are so light that it should be very easy to adapt to other systems as needed.
I'd like to ask you which system (especially relevant for Foundry modules) I'll use for my next mini-adventure/encounter?* This is a quick poll and closes after the weekend.
I'm not sure about its specifics yet, so this is sort of an open question and the chosen system might affect the design of the scenario.
As a note, I have narrowed down my options to three systems plus system-agnostic** for various reasons.
- The system must be open for commercial use
- The system must be popular enough to provide value to more players
- I must be personally familiar enough with the system
So, even though I'd like to design something for system X, it does not fill in the boxes and is not an option because of that.
Thanks for your help!

* I'm not stuck with one system, at least not now, so the next scenario after this might be something else.
**Because I need to use a system when building the scenes for Foundry VTT, I will use a system when NPCs or creatures, or special items are involved. I'll try to keep details easy to adapt to other systems and avoid too complicated or system dependent choices.

SWADE (Savage Worlds Adventure Edition) is my vote :) - in an Shadowrun/The Expanse-like setting.

2022-01-14 16:53:22 +0000 UTCThere are lots of fantasy map-makers out there, but your Sci-Fi maps are amazing, and special. For those of use who like Cyberpunk and Space Opera adventures, we NEED a source of high-quality, evocative maps. Miska's are the best!
