Asteroid Laboratory (24x22)

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you for your support!

I will implement a few changes to my releases as I'm trying to speed up the process. I've noticed that with all the housekeeping and management I might spend half a day making a release. When I started this Patreon, it took maybe 30 minutes, if even that. What I'm trying to say is that I would much rather spend the time making new maps, assets, or other content, than preparing a single release for hours.

This means that there will be some changes to my releases. Besides streamlining the releases, my goal is to publish more serial and modular maps that can be used together more easily than before. There will be weekly map releases; every second week the map will be a deckplan (or a modular deck). But more details about this in a separate post very soon.

But, without further ado, let's introduce this latest map.

This secret cloning laboratory is located deep inside a small asteroid in a secure location. The main lab has six cloning vats, and there is one more special specimen in a separate chamber.

The lab can be accessed through the main elevator or the utility elevator. There is also a small maintenance tunnel to the lab.

Comments

Thanks for pointing this out! The missing unpropped light 140ppi JPG variant is now added to the Basic Map Pack.

Miska Fredman

basic map pack is missing the gridless version of light unpropped. Otherwise this is a great set! I run a pulpy sci fi game with no aliens, so labs and space stations like this are my bread and butter

Especially considering firearms, lasers, and whatnot.

This looks great! One thing I've noticed since running sci-fi is it leads to lots of small cramped spaces. It's nice to have a big open one here to play with!
