Update about my upcoming Audio Visualizer course

Here is an update about my upcoming Audio Visualizer course!

Spoiler: This is shaping up to become one of the most exciting projects I've worked on in my life.

So far I have developed six unique audio visualizers for the course. I have also made two web apps (similar to my MIDI to SVG tool), and I'm working on a Blender add-on that I'm extremely excited about.

My strategy for developing this course has been that I first need to create the audio visualizers I would want to see myself, and then I'll develop the tools I need along the way. The goal is to make the course so good that each audio visualizer project offers more value than any tutorial I've ever made.

The add-on in action: I've finally figured out a simple way to create multi-band 3D audio waveforms! This example uses a Geometry Nodes setup where each curve represents a specific frequency band, based on animation data generated by my add-on. If you look closely, you can see that the curves line up with Blender's 2D waveform view of the music! It's easy to setup, extremely customizable and a lot of fun to play around with.

The add-on can also output the frequencies as animated mesh, without the need for the GeoNodes setup. These look really cool animated - I can't wait to show you!

Course launch date: Early 2025

I have currently paused all my YouTube video projects, so my full-time job now is making this course ready for early 2025. The exact launch date will be revealed when the launch trailer drops.
