This pack was already available on the Proteus Outpost theme pack page, however I have yet to produce a separate map. So, here we go. 

This map depicts a pentagonal colony compound with a diameter of around 2000 meters (or yards).

Nereus

Nereus, also known as Typhon c, is a moon orbiting the gas giant Typhon in the Helios Star System. Rich in biodiversity, the moon is home to the rare organic compound ambrosite, which is highly sought after by humans for its applications in nanotechnology, genetic therapies, and longevity treatments. Nereus has a breathable atmosphere for short periods, vast oceans, and warm jungles teeming with life.

Nereus, with its lush jungles, diverse ecosystem, and valuable resources, has become a battleground for conflicting interests. Orion Stellar Enterprises, driven by greed and ambition, seeks to exploit the moon's resources and its inhabitants for their own gain. The Nereids, a mysterious group of renegade scientists and colonists, fights to protect Nereus from the destructive consequences of human exploitation. Proteus Outpost serves as the epicenter of this struggle, with its personnel caught in the middle of the complex web of intrigue, ambition, and the pursuit of knowledge.

Proteus Outpost

Proteus Outpost, designated as Outpost HEL-202, is a small colony established by Orion Stellar Enterprises (OSE). The outpost is built around the extraction and refining of amatium and research of a chemical compound called ambrosite. 

The outpost is located near the edge of a dense jungle, and its main function is to initialize and establish large-scale resource extraction. The outpost serves as a hub for mining operations and research activities, focusing on the unique ecology of Nereus and its indigenous species.

Orion Stellar Enterprises (OSE)

Orion Stellar Enterprises is a powerful Earth-based megacorporation that has colonized Nereus to exploit its valuable resources. The company is known for its aggressive tactics and willingness to push ethical boundaries to maintain its dominance in the interstellar market. 

Amatium

Amatium, a crystalline complex mineral, is found in large deposits throughout the Helios system. This revolutionary substance has made the development of superconductors, positronics, and stable antimatter reactions possible. Its applications have propelled humanity to new heights, opening the door to new technological advancements.

Ambrosite

Ambrosite is an organic compound unique to Nereus, found and extracted from various lifeforms on the moon. It typically functions as a neural transmitter in these organisms and is present in larger quantities in some species. Ambrosite is believed to be created by metabolizing trace amounts amatium.

Recently a group of OSE scientist found that ambrosite has several unique properties that can help in genetic manipulation and most importantly, stops aging. After this discovery a group of scientists tried to sabotage the ambrosite research and fled into the jungles of Nereus with their co-conspirators. This group of renegades now calls themselves Nereids and they are fighting a guerilla warfare against OSE's resource extraction operations. 

Project Ascendant

OSE is currently researching ways to create and control metamorphs, hostile mutants created by using a mutagenic micro-organism of alien origin in combination with ambrosite. The objective is to turn test subjects into super-soldiers for the company's bio-weapons division.

So far the tests have proven promising under the lead of Dr. Vivian Blackwood. In fact, the first field test operation with a metamorph soldier against the Nereids is being prepared.

This map depicts a pentagonal colony compound with various facilities. 

At the Northern half of the compound there is a refinery for refining the extracted minerals into a more dense form for off-world shipping and an airway for orbital landing craft and smaller aircraft that operate within Nereus' atmosphere.

The barracks in the south east corner of the compound provide lodging and recreational facilities for the personnel of the outposts. It also houses medical and scientific facilities, as well as the outpost's command center.

Vehicles and exomech walkers are housed and maintained at the garages in the compound's south west corner.
