Kiri la Kill - Chapter 26
Added 2023-10-22 10:31:07 +0000 UTCAs I said on the discord (which you really should join if you haven’t already), today is a double update day on Kiri La Kill, because yesterday was a 10 update day on Throne Thief… Man, I really don’t do things by halves, huh ;v.
Tomorrow is rather similar! Another Update for Kiri la Kill and the Monthly Omake that won the poll from a few days ago, coming at you hot and fast, because thankfully I was able to fix my lesson schedule!
We are now entering the last stages of this fic, so things should start picking up steam considerably! Buckle up buckaroos, this is gonna be a wild ride.

Ryuko had acted a bit… hastily, to say the least.
Anyone else might have been a bit leery about suddenly throwing themselves in front of that arrogant Kiryuinn Satsuki, pulling out a sword, and demanding answers… But Matoi Ryuko wasn’t just ‘anyone’, or at least she thought.
She’d been so confident and everything! And that had only gotten more so with the way that all of the students had scrambled away from her, shouting pathetically about how it was ‘happening again’, it had gotten her to think that maybe this would be resolved easily!
And then she’d gotten her ass kicked,
By none other than Gamagoori Ira, the person Mako called the vice-president of the Student Council. Not even managing a single hit on him to back up all her talk as he manhandled her. She’d barely been able to escape with her life!
And worst of all… she’d left Mako behind!
S-she needed to go back home, to rest up and find another way to approach the situation!

“It’s that girl again…” Kiri murmured, as he emerged from the background, next to Satsuki.
“Hmm?” Satsuki hummed, blinking as she looked away from the retreating form of that very familiar looking girl, to instead look at her newest subordinate, who was looking at… another girl. “Ah, Mankanshoku.”
“You remember her name?” He asked, amused.
“Her family made themselves infamous in the city… running an underground clinic with more violations than I care to name.” She spoke in a voice that might have been thought of as a grumble had it come from anyone else. “Seems she is a friend of that new transfer student…”
Kirishima sighed beside her, likely realizing what she was thinking.
How presumptuous… Satsuki allowed it with a barely visible smirk.
“The girl doesn’t even know what’s happening, look at her.” He defended, the bleeding heart that he was… though he was correct, Mankashoku looked like a deer caught in headlights as Gamagoori screamed down at her about what she knew. “Don’t punish her.”
Really now, who did he think she was?
“I was not thinking about an actual punishment.” Satsuki huffed. “But something to lure the transfer student back seemed appropriate.” The New Transfer Student looked like someone whose pride wouldn’t abide being trampled upon for long, but it wouldn’t have hurt to expedite the process… but she could drop it. “Speaking of… what do you think?”
“You didn’t know she was coming?” He asked, sounding genuinely surprised. “Didn’t you manage to locate me just by seismic tremors?” That was indeed impressive, though she really should reconsider the Computer Science Club’s budget now that she thought about it.
Instead of saying that, Satsuki chose to deflect. “Inumuta is already on it I imagine.” That weapon of hers was intriguing, really. “But no, I didn’t know… which might have something to do with you damaging my alliance network.”
He scoffed, drawing a few gasps from those who was witnessing their conversation.
“Gamagoori beating her up doesn’t exactly give me a good view of her abilities.” He said in the end. “That weird weapon though…”
“Built to combat Goku Uniforms.” Satsuki said, as Kiri shook his head.
“I figured.” He grumbled. “It won’t affect me, so she’s no trouble right now.”
“Ah, so you’ve seen it too?”
He nodded.
“That girl is gonna be a thorn in your side for a long time, unless you crush her.” The tone of his voice indicated that he really didn’t like the idea of that, and to his credit, she really didn’t either. “She’ll learn from this, get stronger, and attack again. Repeat until something gives.”
Oho…
“That description sounds rather familiar.” She murmured, as she looked at him and remembered how he talked about his ‘Quirk’.
He was quick on the uptake, as always.
“Do you mean..?”
“I will wait until we have more on her, before coming to a concrete decision.” She said before he could finish, to get ahead of the idle speculation. “But I don’t think it would be such a bad idea to… nudge her along her development, do you?”
Kirishima looked to her, before grinning, his sharp teeth on full display.
Ah, the wonders of having such an understanding conversation partner.

Getting beaten up was all well and good, Ryuko had gotten into hundreds of fights… and not all of them had gone well for her!
She won more than a majority, but there was always a bigger fish! Someone with bigger muscles, someone who’d brought a bat when she just had her firsts, someone who’d brought her friends to what was supposed to be a one on one… and now, invincible vice presidents who could take the sharp side of a scissor blade to the chest, and hold the blade still with their muscles alone!
Ryuko had despaired, of course she had! That kind of power was something she had never seen before, and she was pretty sure that the usual ways she used in coming back from all of her losses wouldn’t help here, but…
…Well, she had just kinda headbutted a final boss before taking on any of the small fry, hadn’t she?! This was her first foray into the ocean, when all she’d been before was a big fish in a small pond!
She was still a growing girl, and she knew their secret was those uniforms now!
So there was no use crying about it! She would work out her frustrations on the smaller fish before throwing herself at the big boss when she grew up enough, it was that simple!
Now, to make a---
Wait a minute.
Why did it feel like she wasn’t standing on anything right now?
WHY WAS SHE FALLING!?
AND WHY WAS SHE BEING MOLESTED BY A TALKING SAILOR UNIFORM?!
