Added 2024-09-26 23:30:35 +0000 UTCPlacing dance as such a focus shows how dominant K-pop has become, which I love. I do hope there will be a vocal focus because a group that can dance without strong singers, isn't it!
The focus on 'star quality' is soo interesting because instinctively it feels like it shouldn't determine so much but yet I feel myself been drawn to certain girls over others. E.g the contrast of Manon vs Adéla. Adéla is an all rounder, one of the few yet I am drawn more to watch Manon even though her dancing isn't that strong and her voice isn't that pleasing (YET) Do you feel the same?
I'm starting to get nervous about the competition element. Usually in K-pop survival shows the girls seem so close even though they are pitted against each other. Maybe they hide the issues but it feels more clique.
