Added 2024-10-05 12:27:01 +0000 UTCJOY JOY JOY every song, stylistic choice, variation, remix, and stage design is picked intentionally and I love this. So some of my favorite parts in no particular order are:
Key's DJ set - how interesting to bring his love of fashion to his 9-5. He looked so at home as a DJ and having the members accompany him made it more of an event
Rainy blue - the emotion on that man's face and his clear teary voice will always be a sucker punch to my heart
Replay remix - it sounded more romantic but didn't loose any of its style. I LOOOVE that song
Tap dancing Onew - stepping out of his comfort zone and showing us something different.
The sexy VOD - the intimate acting was unexpected and kind of hehe
The individual podium stage - that staging with their big hats and voices is iconic
The rotating stage - all that movement wasn't distracting, it just gave the performance levels.

you can´t imagine how happy this has made me. Watching you react, enjoy and cry with the guys I´ve known and loved for so long is pure joy ♥ I even cried as well even though I had watched these performances so many times before :D The ballads! The voice layering! Their unique distinct vocal tones! The emotions! Jonghyun is such a flirt, so is Key haha I used to ADORE them together ;) JOY JOY JOY is exactly what I feel now, thank you so much ♥

2024-10-05 15:46:42 +0000 UTCYesssss this is why I love concert dvds compared to beyond lives because they show close ups, they show the crowd they really make you feel like you’re at the concert!!!! Of course we can’t control how they release stuff but I hope they continue doing it for Kpop concerts cause it’s great. My favorite section is the ballad sections here with the big hats, their Japanese ballads are beautiful and this one has one of my faves ever from them “Colors of the Season”. I loved your analogy about the windmills and the grass, that’s such a beautiful picture and I agree. I love love love rainy blue too of course such a classic and I love that it’s taemin playing the piano for him in a sign of support. He was so emotional here because he actually just recovered from throat surgery and was unsure if he’d be able to sing the same way again. The original singer of this song had the same thing happen and I think it permanently changed his voice. He said he really liked Onew's cover I remember that somewhere. The towels are concert merch!! There’s one per each member, that girl has a pink towel so she’s probably Key biased (since his official color is pink) so they picked a Key biased girl to be brought on stage and get super wrecked by him up close loll!!! And yes the Dj set was so crazy and unique and cool. Ahhh I'm so happy you were able to watch this concert and I'm excited for more cause there's even more greatness to come!

2024-10-05 14:36:32 +0000 UTCThe Rainy blue performance is especially emotional for Onew, SHINee and Shawols because Onew had to have surgery on his vocal cords and they didn't know if he could ever sing again afterwards, he couldn't even talk for 3 months (they were on a Chinese verity show in that time and he couldn't say a word, and STILL managed to be funny..) and had to train himself to sing from the start. the song was written by a Japanese singer that had to have the same surgery but wasn't as lucky and couldn't sing again. Onew was so nerves for this performance that Taemin volunteered to play the piano for him so he could be there for him for support.
