G-Dragon Mama

He is such a moment, I am sooo fascinated by him. I loved the comeback stage too, excited to see more of the group dynamics.

if you want to know their personality off the stage, you can find their variety show called Bigbang TV. It’s actually a variety show for 2ne1’s debut but sometimes they include Bigbang in it to show YG family love. Bigbang attended many variety shows and they were very fun to watch.

14:12 the are meovv first girl group from the black label Teddy first gg so yeah kind a YG and the boys in black are SEVENTEEN who are 100% inspired by them especially the 3 leaders and the general leader his stage name is from GD songs idk remember which one but in there YouTube mama behind the scene, you can see the interaction between them and gd and how Hoshi the blonde guy was excited

Isn’t GD and TOP are childhood friends and taeyang and GD train together at the age of 12 and they were supposed to debut as a duo

Dunia

aww that's lovely

By the way, TOP just did his first interview and said that the reason he left BIGBANG was becuase he didn't want to hurt the team, so hearing GD sing the line: "You're welcome back home wherever you are" in Home Sweet Home here hits different now. I think the song was for the fans, but that line was definitely written for him. I also like to think they used TOPs "Bang Bang Bang-chorus" with that intention, to show they still consider him a part of the team. They could have easily use Jiyongs and erase TOP completely, like they did with Seungri, but they used his Bang Bang Bang-chorus and also his boom shaka laka. And yeah, Taeyang and GD are besties since they were kids :)

It's so much fun to see non-VIPs watch this. I sometimes wish you guys understood all the significance around it. BIGBANG were so important for K-pop, idols writing their songs and especially K-pop becoming global. They were never about the perfect idol image and they always took a long time to release an album. GD didn't even really promote his last comeback and that was 7 years ago. He dissed MAMA several times, most notably during his MAMA 2014 performance and still got invited next year. But with all the issues around the guy we don't talk about and the ridiculously unfair way Korean media treated TOP for smoking weed, Jiyong disappearing for so long and certain K-pop fandoms discrediting them all the time, it felt SO satisfying to see him come back in this way and being received as the king he is. I feel like even I, a long time fan, have understimated the power they have in SK. Home Sweet Home was released randomly and doesn't even have a MV and it's been topping charts since this MAMA performance. But if you watch him sitting in the audience, he's still so humble, bows all the way down even to rookie groups and he gets shy when his award gets announced. Then goes up to do his speech and disses MAMA again :) He´s so interesting

Andrea

He’s cocky, humble, extrovert and shy at the same time. He’s one of the humble artists out there, always bow 90 degrees to people around him, but he also carries himself well because he knows that he’s a superstar. He’s an extrovert but he covers his face with his hands a lot because he’s also shy around people.

Miranda

You can tell all 3 of them are just so happy to be there. Both Keon twins and Bada lee’s team are in the back dance group of this performance. You should check out Kwon twin’s episode on Daesung’s YouTube Zip daesung where Daesung talked about how Bigbang dance is tiring while Kwon Twins were like you shut up we back dancers danced our asses off lmao

Miranda

Finally!

His actual personality is kind of shy, believe it or not. He’s so baby when he’s off stage! That pink outfit cost over $6 million US, btw. Insane. Also, the three members you see are the only members left of the original BIGBANG unit. T.O.P left the group after Still Life was released. (It's a really tragic tale of self-loathing and persecution by the media in SK) We VIP think that Home Sweet Home is actually a song to Tabi (T.O.P) letting him know he's welcome back. That hasn't been confirmed, though. And the fifth member who has departed, we don't talk about. <3
