๐จ VTube Model Progress โ The Good, the Glitchy, and the "What Is That?!" ๐ค๐ฅ
Added 2025-06-14 22:40:30 +0000 UTCG'day everyone! ๐
Just wanted to drop in with a quick update on my 3D VTube model project ๐ง ๐ฅ โ itโs been a wild ride so far! Things are technically going wellโฆ but also chaotic, in the way only 3D modeling can be. ๐
The biggest issue right now? When I export my model (which has a bunch of separate objects ๐งฉ) into the VTube softwareโฆ it breaks reality. ๐ตโ๐ซ Pieces flying around, body parts stretched like noodles ๐, and the whole thing looks like it got pulled into a digital black hole ๐. Not exactly the polished vibe I was going for.
So, Iโve been experimenting with merging everything into a single object ๐งฑ. That does fix some problemsโฆ but it also makes the model look like a lumpy space potato ๐ฅโจ. Not ideal, but at least it doesn't explode anymore ๐ฅ.
For now, I might just roll with the "bad" version ๐๐๐พ โ because even a broken model gets me further than no model. Itโs giving me something to test, learn from, and improve on.
This whole process has been a mix of creativity, confusion, and a lot of Blender and Unity head-scratching ๐คฏ๐ง. But Iโm learning as I go, and Iโm excited to keep pushing through!
Thanks for sticking with me ๐๐ โ and if youโre curious, I might even post some cursed screenshots soon ๐ธ๐ป. If anyoneโs got Blender-to-VRM tips or just wants to scream about rigging with me, my inbox is wide open ๐.
๐ Onward through the chaos!

The Bad: The wings still bend down like that and don't know how to fix them to be straight. the main difference is the engine and the air intake. the red color was experimenting with materials in this software
