2025-10-27 20:34:48 +0000 UTCI know the kill count was already going to run long, but as a person of indigenous descent, I was a little disappointed we didn't get a moment for the Choctaw vampire hunters. I know they weren't on screen long and there were no kills related to them, but they really caught my attention when I watched the movie. I'd absolutely love to see Coogler and/or someone he trusts make a movie about them on a hunt.

I feel like I'm high from how good that was. Everything about it just works. Not a single moment oversteps its welcome, and its just so beautiful.

I knew it wqs a vampire movie going in, but it was such a slow build that by the time the vanps showed up, they weren't needed. Movie wasn't bad, but it would've been better as an action/ drama movie than it turned out as a vampire flick
